ピアニスト高木里代子と DJ 牧野雅己が中心のクラブ・ユニット。ハウスミュージックをベースにジャズ、ファンク、ラテン、クラシック、ロックなどジャンルを超越したミクスチャークラブサウンドを展開。ライブでは決まった構成を持たず時にはヴァイオリン、フラメンコギターなどの弦楽器。サックス、トロンボーンなどの金管楽器に加えティンバレス、ボンゴなどパーカッションも加えた大編成となる事もある。インプロビゼーションを得意とし、その場の空気感を楽曲に投影する感性は国内外で大きな反響を呼んでいる。

2005年、DJ/ ピアノ・キーボード / バイオリンの構成で活動開始。DJイベントのゲストライブなどで演奏開始。2006 年、DJ EMMAとのコラボにより 初期イタロハウス「We Got The Love」をカヴァーした1st E.P.を発売。アナログのみの発売に関わらず6,000枚のビッグ・セールスを記録。同時にミニアルバム「agitato」リリース。都内の主要クラブにて精力的に活動を行う。（西麻布SPACE LAB YELLOW、六本木DJ LOUNGE SONORA 渋谷WOMB、渋谷The Room、渋谷LOUNGE NEO 等）2008年2nd E.P.「Found Love」リリース。（2,000枚を即完売させる。）渋谷DMRにてセールス記録を樹立。同年現在のピアニスト高木里代子かメンバーに加入。2009年、高木の作曲による3rd E.P.「SAKURA」リリース。和風ピアノハウスを確立。1,800枚のセールス。同年待望の1st Album「RYUDO」リリース。過去ヒット曲のRemixを含む豪華2枚組。2,500枚のスマッシュヒット。（同アルバムにはトミイエサトシが帯コメントを寄稿した。）この頃より札幌、大阪、九州を中心に全国へ活動の幅を広げる。現在はファンクを主としたシカゴ系ハウスJackin? Houseや今話題のElectro Swingなどをベースに新生Inner City Jam orchestraとして活動中。

Inner City Jam Orchestra is Club Unit that is composed of Riyoko Takagi (Piano) and Masami Makino (Dj).

Their mixture club sound transcends over the border, it’s based on the House music and add up such like Jazz, Classic, Rock, Funk and Latin etc. They do not have a structure in which decided to perform, Sometimes violin, and string instruments, such as

flamenco guitar. Sometimes Brass instruments such as the sax and trombone and also add up Timbales and Bongo. When a band has also been a large organization. They’re good at improvisation. And sensitivity to project the air feeling of the place to the music has a high reputation in Japan and abroad.

2005, Start playing in the guest live DJ events. Members are a Dj, Piano/Keyboard and Violin. 2006, 1st E.P. "We Got The Love" was released. It was the Initial Italo House tune’s cover in collaboration with DJ EMMA. It recorded 6,000 sheets of Big sales only Vinyl Record. At the same time, They released the mini album "agitato". They do energetically gigs at Tokyo's main club. (Nishi-Azabu SPACE LAB YELLOW, Roppongi DJ LOUNGE SONORA, Shibuya WOMB, Shibuya The Room, Shibuya LOUNGE NEO, etc.) 2008, 2nd E.P. "Found Love" was released. (2,000 sheets to be sold out.) To set a sales record at Shibuya DMR. The same year, the current pianist Takagi Riyoko joined with members. 2009, 3rd EP "SAKURA" was released by the composers of Takagi. To establish a Japanese-style piano House. It was sold 1,800 sheets. The same year the long-awaited 1st Album "RYUDO" was released. Deluxe 2-Disc, including Remix of past hit songs. It was sold 2,500 pieces of smash hits. (The same album SATOSHI TOMIIE has contributed band comments.) From this time, Sapporo, Osaka, including the Kyushu, to widen the range of activities in the whole country. Currently, They play Chicago House called ‘Jackin' House’ and ‘Electro Swing’
